ANALYSIS OF Ca IN GUPPY FISH (Poecilia reticulata) AT KALIRUNGKUT WITH ICPS

Abstract


ABSTRACT

 This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the level of calcium in guppy fish taken from the ditch in Kalirungkut Village area and also know the existence of guppy fish potency to be used as source of raw material of animal feed in the form of fish meal. Method of destruction of sample used is wet destruction by using HNO3 and HCl. For qualitative analysis and analysis of sample rate used ICPS instrument. From qualitative analysis yields peak at wavelength 393,366 nm which proves existence of calcium in fish sample. From the analysis of calcium levels gives results that guppy fish contain calcium with levels averaging 4.28%. From the analysis of calcium content in the sample then guppy fish potentially used as a source of raw material for animal feed seen from the calcium levels that have calcium levels of 2.5-5%.

 

 

ABSTRAK

 Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengetahui kadar kalsium dalam ikan guppy yang diambil dari selokan di daerah Kelurahan Kalirungkut serta mengetahui adanya potensi ikan guppy untuk digunakan sebagai sumber bahan baku pakan ternak dalam bentuk tepung ikan. Metode destruksi sampel yang digunakan adalah destruksi basah dengan menggunakan HNO3 dan HCl. Untuk analisis kualitatif dan analisis kadar sampel digunakan instrumen ICPS. Dari analisis kualitatif menghasilkan puncak pada panjang gelombang 393,366 nm yang membuktikan adanya kalsium dalam sampel ikan. Dari analisis kadar kalsium memberikan hasil bahwa ikan guppy mengandung kalsium dengan kadar rata-rata 4,28%. Dari hasil analisis kadar kalsium dalam sampel maka ikan guppy berpotensi digunakan sebagai sumber bahan baku pakan ternak dilihat dari kadar kalsium yang mempunyai persyaratan kadar kalsium 2,5-5%.
