Author Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted for publication should meet the following conditions:


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. The editors of the Journal Pharmacy Science and Technology received original, relevant, and unpublished scientific manuscript both inside and outside the country.

2. The manuscript can be reports of research results. The research report is the result of original research from broad areas of health.

3. The manuscript is written both in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Foreign words or latin name should be italicized.

4. Use numerals for large number or those over 10 (10, 11, 12,...) but words for small number (one, two, three).

5. Intervening space is used between the number and unit, such as %, °C, ml, mg,... etc.

5. Reference writing uses the Vancouver style

SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

The manuscript of the article is structured according to the following guidelines:

1. Title

The title of the article should represent the contents of the article that is compiled in a concise, solid and assertive. The title of the article is written in Indonesian, using capital letters, Arial font size 10, center and bold.

2. Writer's name

The author's name is written under the title without any academic degree or position.

3. Correspondence Address

A form of the agency where the author works equipped with an email address.

4. Abstract

An abstract should be in a single paragraph not exceeding 250 words (Bahasa Indonesia and English), typed with Arial, 10 pt, single space, and italicized and must include Background: briefly describe introduction of the study, Objective: describe the purpose of the study, Method: Describe the series of methods used in research, Results: Brief results of the study, Conclusions: Conclusion of the study. Avoid abbreviations and references in the abstract. Keywords (keywords) 3-5 words.

5. Introduction

First section which provide background and research objectives, followed by results of previous studies that support the problem. Data that refers to specific references is written using mendeley or zotero with Vancouver format, ex: [1] Bush et al., 1997. Font type used Arial, 10 pt, 1.5 space.

6. Research methods

The research method consist of Research Design, Research Target (Population and Sample), Data Collection and Instrument Development Technique, and Data Analysis Technique.

7. Research result

Illustration of research results may come in the form of graphs, table, or pictures. The results presented are meaningful findings and relevant to the research objectives.


TABLE, IMAGE OR GRAPH

The title of the image or graphic uses font size 10 pt and placed under the image or graphic with the reference. Table contents should be in Arial, 10 pt, single space, and 0.5 pt below the table. The Table title should be in bold Arial, 11 pt, and placed above the table. Tables do not use vertical lines. Tables numbering uses Arabic numerals (1,2, ....), and table descriptions are placed below the table.

8. Discussion

The discussion suggests the relevance or compatibility between the results of research with the theory and comparison of recent results with other published results. The discussion also explains the implications of the findings for science and its utilization.

9. Conclusion

The conclusion should be in full sentence form containing renewable findings to answer the research problems.

10. Acknowledgement

The suggestion provides recommendations for further research and those who assists during study.

11. Quotes

The citation uses a numbering technique. Each quote is numbered and customized to appear in the article.

12. Reference

All references (last 3-5 years) mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the article script. Reference materials consist of 60% of primary libraries (scientific journals) and 40% of other literature. All libraries are arranged in the order of serial numbers, while references are arranged alphabetically.
